One woman is in jail after bringing illegal drugs to the Martin County Security Center. On Sunday, Martin County officers received a tip that 37-year-old Ashley C. Green of Terre Haute planned to be at the security center for an arranged drug delivery during visiting hours. Upon the delivery, an officer in civilian clothing recovered a small bag of drugs that Green had left in the visitation area. The substance tested positive for methamphetamine. Officers took Green into custody and charged her with Dealing Meth, Dealing a Schedule III Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Meth. Officers also obtained a search warrant for Green’s minivan and recovered approximately twenty-seven (27) grams of methamphetamine. The vehicle search led to additional charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of paraphernalia.
