Susanna (Bosworth) Murry entered into eternity with Jesus on February 5, 2021.
She was born on January 19, 1929, to Gilbert and Antoinette (Kirk) Bosworth.
Susanna graduated from Fritchton High School in 1947. On May 11, 1947, she married Earl R Murry Sr. During their 57 years of marriage they raised 6 children on their family farm. Susanna graduated from nursing school in 1982 and worked as a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital and at a nursing home. Susanna was a member of the Bethlehem General Baptist Church in Vincennes, Indiana but her love for Jesus shined the brightest in the way she cared for others. She continued caring for the elderly and sitting with some of her Great Grandchildren into her late 80s. Susanna also enjoyed painting, reading, needlework, and volunteering for habitat for humanity.
Susanna is survived by four of her children, Janet S. Worland (Jerry) of Switz City, In, Brenda Jean Norris (Jamie) of Worthington, In, Dan W. Murry (Benita) of Henderson, KY, and Paul J. Murry (Susan) of Lenoir City TN. Susanna’s grandchildren Raymond, Ronnie, Marie, Jessica, Jake, Alicia, Jeremy, Renee, Abby, Erica, Kyle, Rachel, Corey, Logan, Nathan, Laura, Abby her sisters Pat Young, Lula Fleck and Dorothy Yochum and several great grandchildren.
Susanna was preceded in death by her husband Earl R. Murry Sr., her sons Earl (BUD) Murry Jr, Steven D. Murry, her grandson Ryan N. Murry, her brother Karl Bosworth and her parents. Susanna enjoyed many blessings while she on Earth, but she took comfort in the joy and hope of eternity in heaven.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Walnut Grove Cemetery with Pastor Pete White officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway in Vincennes. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Susanna Murry.
