As Joe Biden was sworn in as president on Wednesday, it was a Hoosier who got to represent the U.S. Navy at the ceremony. Before the swearing in, each branch of the military was recognized with soldiers bearing the flags of each branch. Seaman Ethan Prilliman, a Hoosier, and recent graduate of Mooresville High School, got to carry the flag of the U.S. Navy. He said it was nerve-whacking but that he was honored to carry the Navy colors. He was also glad his parents got to watch him on TV, since he hasn’t been able to see them since June because of the pandemic.
