On Sunday, the Indiana Department of Health reported 3,228 new cases of coronavirus across the state. That brings the total number of Hoosiers who’ve tested positive for COVID-19 to 590,211. The department also reported 24 new deaths, bringing the total number of Hoosiers who’ve died due to the virus to 8,936. So far, over 6.4-million people have been tested for coronavirus in Indiana. The state’s current overall positivity rate is at 10.8-percent, while the seven-day positivity rate sits at 13.6-percent.
