On New Years Eve, Vincennes Police arrested two people for Operating While Intoxicated. The first was made around 1am when officers responded to a vehicle accident at Hucks on Hart Street. Charles Wofford showed several signs of impairment and agreed to partake in Standard Field Sobriety Test. He also consented to a blood draw. He was later placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated.
Around 3:07 AM, officers responded to 6/Busseron, in reference to a single vehicle crash. Upon arrival, officers learned that the vehicle had struck a fire hydrant. The driver Sarah Watts, and the passenger were both found to be intoxicated. Watts was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated. No one was injured in either accident.
