The Daviess County Health Department released the latest COVID-19 numbers on Monday. The total number of cases diagnosed since April has now risen to 1,675. Since last Wednesday, 111 new cases have been diagnosed. The current death toll is also now at 45.
Daviess County is still in the Orange Category, but has been flagged by the state due to the recent high number of cases. The Daviess County Health Department orders are still in place until December 6th. Restaurants are operating at 50% capacity, visitation to nursing homes has been suspended, and all Daviess County Schools have switched to E-Learning.
