The Daviess County Health Department released a statement over the weekend asking residents to please be vigilant and help slow the spread of COVID-19. The Health Department reported Daviess County is currently one of the top 5 counties in Indiana with the highest positivity rate. According to the ISDH, Indiana is in the orange category, which means the spread is medium to high throughout the county. Officials are asking residents to follow the mask mandate, wash hands, avoid social gatherings, and stay home if you are sick.
