On Thursday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported another day of record breaking positive coronavirus tests – coming in at 2,880. That brings the state’s total number of positive tests to 155,246. The department also reported an increase in coronavirus deaths with 42 more Hoosier deaths reported. That brings the total number of Hoosiers who’ve died due to coronavirus to 3,831. So far, Indiana has tested over 2.6-million Hoosiers. The state’s overall positivity rate sits at 5.8-percent. The department also reported more than 1500 people are now in the hospital with the virus. That’s up significantly from just a few weeks ago.
