Darlene K. Crim, 80, of Loogootee, passed away at 6:18 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville.

She was born June 17, 1940 in Shoals, Indiana to the late Fred and Gladys (Neukam) Bauer.

Darlene married Glenn Crim on June 23, 1960 and spent 60 years together.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Loogootee and was the church secretary for 33 years. She enjoyed gardening, canning and tending to her flowers. She was an excellent seamstress and loved to play games with her family. Most importantly, Darlene loved her family and cherished the memories that they made together.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Gladys Bauer; brothers, Keith Bauer and Roger Bauer.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Crim of Loogootee; daughters, Teresa (Anthony) Haag and Leanne (Jim) Love, both of Loogootee; grandchildren, Krystle (Leonard) Hahus, Derek Haag, Tyler Love and Danielle Love; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Nolan Hahus; siblings, Patricia (Lary) Graves of Tipton, Dr. Rick (Becky) Bauer of Loogootee and Rita (Doug) Denson of Loogootee; sister-in-law, Linda Bauer; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2020 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Loogootee. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee and Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Loogootee.
