The university’s faculty senate yesterday voted no confidence in President Christopher Pietruszkiewicz. Professors are angry about proposed budget cuts that could lead to layoffs, and are demanding more of a say in how the university is run. The president didn’t offer a comment yesterday, but has said in the past that it is ‘unfortunate’ that faculty members are taking a hard line over cuts that must happen at the university.
