Joseph (Joey) a.k.a. “Dr. Joe” Calderazzo 68, formerly of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully at his residence in Washington, IN, on April 25th at 6:25pm.
Joey was a brilliant guy and graduated as Valedictorian from Bishop Egan High School in 1969. After High school, he studied Medicine at St Joseph’s University, and finalized his education at Temple University. He was Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Hematology as well.
He was also known for his love of refereeing high school sports. Throughout his career he officiated Football, Basketball, baseball and softball… his passion among those was football.
Surviving Joey is his sister Vicki Calderazzo, her immediate family and his dear friend and love of his life Cathy Sager.
A celebration of Joey’s life will be held when the (Covid-19) restrictions have been lifted. At that time we will run a full obituary and celebrate the life of this amazingly kind, caring, loving, funny, and intelligent soul.
