Due to the current situation Washington Mayor Dave Rhoads has ordered that the street department cut back to essential personnel only and that they go home once work is done..
Starting today the Street Department won’t be picking up sticks and limbs until the order is lifted. The north gate allowing access to the grass bin will be closed as well. The city bus is reducing hours to 7 to 3 pm.
