Indiana COVID-19 deaths now number 7

The number of COVID-19 cases in Indiana topped 200 on Sunday.

 

In it’s daily update, the state health department says there have been nearly 1500 tests reported to them with 661 results and there are 201 confirmed cases as of this morning.

 

The Indiana State Department of Health reported one of those cases is in neighboring Dubois County.  The department also stated that a reported case in Greene County has now turned out to be negative. There are no confirmed cases in Greene County.

 

Over the weekend, four more Hoosiers succumbed to the virus. That brings the number of those who’ve died of the virus in the state to 7.   One patient had been hospitalized in Delaware County and was over 60.  Others were from Scott and Marion Counties and were over 50 and had underlying medical conditions.  The 4th was in Allen County and they died last night.  That person was an older adult with a history of chronic health issues.
