Banks shifting to appointment and drive up banking only

ONB
Starting Friday, March 20, Old National will shift to appointment-only banking at all branch locations. This will enable members of the Old National staff to clean and disinfect surfaces after each visit. The drive-thru will remain open at all locations. Drive-thru hours of operation will not change.
Appointments will be available between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time, with the first hour of each day reserved for those 60 or older and others who are deemed high-risk. Call your nearby banking center to schedule an appointment. Locations and phone numbers can be found at oldnational.com/locations.
Bank officials say that most banking transactions can be completed through drive-thru windows, including check deposits, standard withdrawals, bill payments and transfers. Old National asks for clients to schedule an appointment for withdrawals of $2,000 or more, loan applications, safe deposit box access requests and disputes.
Clients also can complete many banking transactions at oldnational.com or by using their banking app.

First Financial
Today First Financial Bank President and CEO, Norman Lowery announced that “Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our associates and customers, we are temporarily suspending the services we provide in the lobbies of our banking centers.”  This includes all 81 banking centers.
The bank confirmed that its branch in Pleasant View, Tennessee is temporarily closed due to possible exposure to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).  One employee has been tested, but laboratory results are not yet available.
First said that they would be taking in-person meetings by appointment and asking customers to use drive-up windows, ATMs and online banking services.
The bank said that a management response team will be following developments of this swiftly evolving health emergency and will take action to protect the First Financial family, our customers and the communities we serve.
