The Daviess County Health Department is reminding residents not to panic over current circumstances.  They are actively monitoring the situation and working closely with state and local partners.  No coronavirus is in Daviess County but if it happens they will have a portal of information available to the public.

Meanwhile, their official recommendations include what we’ve heard all along.  Stay home if your sick, cover coughs and sneezes, wash your hands.  They also remind us that Indiana is still experiencing high influenza activity.

12 people in Indiana have coronavirus while over 30 have died of Influenza in Indiana in the 2019-2020 flu season.
