Therese Irene Neidige

Therese Irene Neidige 89 of Washington, went to her heavenly home while surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 12, 2020.

Irene was born on March 25, 1930 in Loogootee, IN to the late J.B. Madden and Mary Esther Clements Madden.

She was a volunteer for at Saint Vincent de Paul and also for Deals on Wheels for fifteen years. She attended United Pentecostal Tabernacle of Vincennes, and also most recently Victory Community Church of Washington. Irene attended Loogootee High School and was took an interest in world events. Irene enjoyed watching the weather, the news, and being educated about all things going on in the world and community which she lived.

Irene is survived by; her loving son, David Neidige (Mary Jo); grandchildren, Therese Neidige, Gary E. Neidige, Dawnyell Neidige, Cassie Neidige, Robert L. Neidige, Christopher Neidige, Ashley Gilmore, Joel Neidige; twenty great-grandchildren; and two great-great children; and many nieces and nephews.

Irene was preceded in death by; her loving husband of nearly 70 years, Robert E. Neidige; parents; and a son, Gary L. Neidige; siblings, Lester Madden, Bernard Madden, Narvella Madden, and Midge Madden.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Gill Funeral Home with a service immediately following also at the funeral home, which will be conducted by Pastor Pete Aldrich.
