Jolene S. Yoder, 45, of Loogootee, passed away at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, November 10, 2019 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was born March 3, 1974 in Washington, Indiana to Dallas and Alma (Knepp) Yoder.
Jolene never met a stranger and warmed the room with her smile. She loved puzzles and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed working at Red Door – Four Rivers. Jolene attended Living Waters Church with her parents and loved her church family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sylvanus and Susan Yoder and Noah and Rachel Knepp; step-grandmother, Mary M. Knepp; uncles, Cecil Yoder and Leroy “Topper” Knepp; aunt, Rosella Hostetler and Rachel Knepp.
Jolene is survived by her parents, Dallas and Alma Yoder; siblings, Scott (Darla) Yoder of Montgomery, Tyson (Gwen) Yoder of Loogootee and Dewey (Stacey) Yoder of Cambodia; nieces and nephews, Erin (special friend, Hunter Land), Kylie, Blake, Ashton, Allison, Zeke, Zaydok, Creed and Caiden Yoder; uncles, Richard Hostetler of Sugar Creek, Ohio, Leonard (Esther) Yoder of Montgomery, Willis (Anita) Knepp of Lake Butler, Florida, John H. (Ruth) Knepp of Montgomery and Noah (Bernice) Knepp Jr. of Odon; aunts, Freda (Roger) Helmuth of Berlin, Ohio, Charlene (Glen) Hofer of Raymond, Alberta, Canada, Lynette (LaWayne) Ropp of Estacada, Oregon, Rose (Larry) Swartzentruber of Odon, Verda (Marvin) Graber of Loogootee, Esther (Leonard) Yoder of Montgomery, Ruth (Mervin) Beachy of Loogootee, Naomi Knepp of Washington and Marilyn Knepp of Goshen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00a.m. Friday, November 15, 2019 at Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Montgomery. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Montgomery.
