Larry A. Ray Sr. 82 of Washington went to his heavenly home while surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 26, 2019.
Larry was born in Wheatland to the late Andrew Ray Sr. and Hazel (Morgan) Ray.Larry was a 1957 graduate of Alfordsville High School; He retired as the lead police officer from Crane and attended First Christian Church.
Larry is survived by; his loving wife, Mary Lou Ray; three sons, Larry A. Ray Jr. (Amelia), James Ray, and Scott Ray; grandchildren, Brittany Ray, Brandi Ray-Miller (Ryan), Haley Ray, Madison Ray, and Parker Ray; Siblings, Donald Ray, and Joy Hobson.
Preceded in death by;his parents; a brother, Loyd Ray; and a sister, Beverly Ray.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Gill Funeral Home, 308 E. Walnut St. Washington IN 47501 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. with a service immediately following with Pastor Byron Holtzclaw officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery (Reeves Township).
