The Washington School Board heard reports Thursday about how the Washington Schools are helping in-coming kindergarten students get ready for the school setting.

Four Washington elementary teachers, including Brenda Meredith, received Indiana University Woodrow Wilson Fellowships.  The four have worked to develop Hatchets Kinder Kamp, a 10-day camp that will help incoming kindergartners get prepared for the basics of school.  Brenda Merideth explains the Kinder Kamp Program.

The other 3 teachers receiving  Woodrow Wilson Fellowships are Tara Weisheit, Rhiannon Frye, and Kristin Murphy
