Washington officially honored local celebrity Trevin Alford at Tuesday’s City Council meeting. Mayor Wellman presented Alford, who is the 2019 Food Network Kids Baking Champion, with the Key to the City and a special apron that carried Trevin’s name and the City Seal. The Mayor also unveiled the prototype of a special sign, designed by the Washington Street Department, proclaiming Washington as the “Home of Trevin Alford”.
The signs will be placed at the five main highway entrances to Washington.
