Indiana is outstripping state budget projections for a second straight month:
In the first month of the new budget, Indiana just missed its expected sales tax collections, but made up for it with income taxes. Last month, both figures were way up, and corporate tax collections were too. The state is now 69-million dollars ahead of expectations for the year so far.
