The Indiana Department of Transportation announces intermittent lane closures on State Road 441 (Willow Street and 6^th Street) in Vincennes for pavement patching operations.
Beginning on or around Friday, Aug. 30, contractors will intermittently close sections of S.R. 441 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily as they complete a concrete and asphalt patching operation from the interchange at U.S. 41 to 2^nd Street. Lane restrictions will also be left in place overnight on concrete sections to allow materials proper curing time.
The project will be performed under flagging operations on the single lane sections of S.R. 441 from 2^nd Street to the intersection at 6^th and Vigo and then following 6^th Street to Willow Street. The four-lane section of S.R. 441 will be performed under single lane closures.
Depending upon weather conditions, the project is scheduled to last until the end of September. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
