They were only open for a couple of days, and a grand opening will definitely be delayed as firefighters were called to the new Tokyo Japanese Sushi and Steakhouse in the strip mall near Wal Mart in Washington this morning.

Washington Township Fire Department Chief Tony Wichman told WAMW that they were called at 6:15 and the fire was put out quickly and firemen remained on the scene assessing damage and clearing smoke and making sure nothing else caught fire in the building which also houses several other business including Papa John’s and World of Finance. Wichman says he did not expect those businesses to be open today.

There were no injuries and a cause and point of origin was still being looked into.
