Man Steals Pick-Up By Crawling Through Doggie Door

Here is a cautionary story for pet owners.   A Sullivan County man faces charges after stealing a pick-up by crawling through a doggie door.

A report from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a stolen pick-up around 2 p.m. Thursday and were able to locate the vehicle. According to the report, 51 year old Garland Tuttle of Farmersburg, admitted that he had stolen the truck. Tuttle told the officers he had gained access to the garage by crawling through a doggie door in the garage. Garland tested with a blood alcohol content of .291% He faces charges of burglary, auto theft, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
