The Evansville Courier and Press reports that callers to Vanderburgh County Dispatch reported a “Nude Cowboy” riding the range Tuesday night.

The caller told the Dispatch that a man was driving a truck wearing a cowboy hat…and nothing else.     The newspaper says that apparently there is no law in Indiana, or in most states for that matter, that expressly prohibits “driving while nude”.    However, if anyone sees the bare driver…he or she can be arrested for public nudity, a misdemeanor.   The paper says that the Nude Cowboy was referred to on the scanner for several minutes before riding toward the sunset into Posey County on Interstate 64.
