Indiana State Police on Wednesday released the name of the operator of an ultralight light plane which crashed in Greene County Tuesday night.

The aircraft had an engine failure at 9-pm and an unplanned “dead stick” landing was made near Greene County Road 600-West.   After touchdown, the plane bounced over the road and went into a ditch and inverted.  The frame was severely damaged and the pilot, 52-year-old Robert L. Milsaps of Coal City suffered non-life threatening head injuries and broken bones. He was taken to Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
