After 24 years on the job. Lieutenant Deputy Wendall Wise of the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department is retiring.
Sheriff Gary Allison says Lt. Wise has served the citizens as a Jailor, Dispatcher, Communications Director, A Patrol Deputy, a K9 Officer with his partner Grasco, a Transport Officer and then was appointed Lieutenant.
Allison presented Wise with a plaque on Thursday recognizing his over 2 decades of service.
