Teenager Wanted for Murder in Puerto Rico, Turns Himself into WPD

Wednesday evening, a teenager wanted for murder in the United States Commonwealth of Puerto Rico turned himself in to Washington Police officers. In a press release, the Washington Police Department says that 18 year old Gabriel Enrique Mora-Ruiz told local officers that he was wanted in Puerto Rico. The outstanding warrant from Puerto Rico charges Ruiz with murder and two counts of attempted murder.   Mora-Ruiz was taken to the Daviess County Security Center where Daviess County Sheriff Gary Allison says he will be held without bond until the extradition proceedings to the American territory are competed.
