Gas Price Check

After a few weeks of increases, gas prices throughout Indiana fell on average. The price of unleaded gas fell the most out of any other state in the US last week to two-dollars-and-30-cents a gallon. That’s an overall drop of 11-cents from a week ago. The cheapest gas in the state is in Franklin at 2-0-2. Muncie and Zionsville are only slightly more expensive. Gas-Buddy’s Patrick DeHaan said the decrease came in spite of the fact that the US’s oil reserves took a hit last month. He said with maintenance season coming to an end for refineries increasing gas prices should start slowing.

Gas is 2.32 to 2.36 in Washington, 2.42 to 2.49 in Petersburg,  2.39 in Vincennes,  and 2.32 in Loogootee.
