From the police blotters…

-A Washington man was booked into the security center for four counts of Professional Gambling yesterday.  59-year-old Roger E. Padgett posted bond.

-Indiana State Police conducted an investigation and arrested a 19-year-old Plainville resident on several charges.  Lyndon A. Goodpaster is charged with Residential Entry, Escape, Theft, Resisting Law Enforcement, Battery on Law Enforcement and Criminal Trespass.  He also faces drug related charges including; Possession of Marijuana and Meth and Paraphernalia and Public Intoxication.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man yesterday for Operating While Intoxicated with refusal.  No bond was set for 55-year-old Louis A. Gerbig II. 

-Washington Police served an arrest warrant on 39-year-old Dustin Martin of Washington. He’s charged with Dealing Methamphetamine.  Bond was set at $100,000.

-A Farmersburg woman was arrested for Failure to Appear in Court for Invasion of Privacy.  27-year-old Carrie J. Grubbs posted bond.

 — State Police, Excise Police and the Indiana Gaming Commission reportedly conducted an investigation at the Tuxedo Bar on Southeast 4th yesterday morning.  No details released. 

-Police investigated a breaking and entering at a residence on 150-west yesterday.

 –Washington Fire and Police were dispatched to 506 North State Road 57 to a house fire at 11:06-pm last night.  The police report says a caller advised a fire was in the kitchen with flames up to the ceiling.  A line crew was called to shut off power to the residence.  After the fire was controlled, firefighters stayed on scene to assist the family in gathering their belongings.  The Red Cross was contacted to further assist the residents.
