Emmons running for City Council

      Washington Light and Power Superintendent Randy Emmons has announced he’s running for City Council District 5.  He’ll be seeking the Republican nomination in May’s Municipal Primary Election. 

     Emmons says his 42 years experience working for the city of Washington gives him the knowledge of the community needed to keep Washington moving in the right direction. Emmons has worked under several Mayoral Administrations both Republican and Democrat.  Emmons is retiring from his current position at the end of the year.

     The District 5 seat is currently held by Republican Sierra Deckard who is seeking re-election, Republican David Eskew is also vying for the Republican nomination.
