Washington City Council member Searirra Decker has officially announced her re-election bid. Decker serves in District 5. Her slogan is Commitment, Honesty and Integrity.
She says she believes her experience and knowledge which she’s gained will be beneficial to a new mayor and new people coming on board the city council.
Decker works as a funeral director at Gill Funeral Home and is working on finishing her education in that field as well as pursuing a degree in business.
She is being challenged by Republican David Eskew in the May Primay.
