A Knox County Farmer has been recognized for his using innovative techniques and tools to improve soil, water, and air quality.
Ray McCormick received the Land O’Lakes Advocacy Award on World Soil Day.
As President of the Indiana Soil and Water Conservation Districts, and as a Commissioner for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, McCormick is an advocate for sustainability, and a life-long conservationist. He also served on the board of directors for the Indiana Wildlife Foundation.
