Nancy Lou Traylor, 84, passed away at 7:55 pm on November 27, 2018 at the Villages of Oakridge. Nancy was born on December 6, 1933 in Winslow the daughter of Lawrence and Mary (Garland) Meadors. She married Ralph E. Traylor in August of 1955 and he preceded her in death in August of 2003.
Nancy was a 1951 graduate of Otwell High school and was a long- time member of the First Christian Church in Washington. She had worked as a car hop for Masons and most recently at Uniroyal and Nasco Industries. Nancy loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking, baking and quilting.
Survivors include her sons, Rusty Traylor and his wife Janice of Washington, Wesley Traylor and his wife Melissa of St. Joseph, MI; grandchildren, Jared Traylor, Rachael Schaub and husband Adam, Ciera Traylor, Anna Traylor; great grandchild Lillian Schaub, Blake Purdue, Henry Schaub, brother George Thomas Meadors and his wife Violet of Otwell and special friend S.D. scudder of Elnora. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents her husband Ralph E. Traylor; and sisters, Laverne Buchta and Voris Breidenbaugh.
Friends may visit with Nancy’s family on Saturday from Noon until 3:00 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street. Nancy’s funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Bro. Byron Holtsclaw officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
