Sherrie L. Wise, 50, of Loogootee, passed away Friday, July 13, at IU Health Medical Center, Indianapolis.
She was born June 4, 1968, in Jasper, the daughter of Sherman and Donna Truelove Harder. She married Bryan Wise on Oct. 26, 2017.
She attended Loogootee Community Schools and was a 1990 graduate of the University of Evansville School of Nursing. She lived and worked in Indianapolis for many years and had recently moved back to Martin County. Sherrie loved spending time with family and friends and all of her cousins. She loved her pets and was an avid Colts and Indy car fan.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Bernard and Nancy Truelove, Lee and Marie Harder; stepbrother Will Hotalen. She is survived by her husband, Bryan Wise of Loogootee; her parents; and one brother, Anthony Harder.
There will be a Celebration of Life ceremony at the Redemption Christian Church in Loogootee at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18.
