Vickie Linn Reed went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 12, 2018.
She was born Dec. 17, 1954, to the late Morris Frederick and the late Ethel (Waldrop) Frederick. She married Jerry Reed shortly after graduating from Vincennes Lincoln High School in the class of 1972. She is survived by her spouse and her daughter Kristy (Brad) Killion; grandchildren Hunter, Brody, and Ava Killion; brother David (Cynthia) Frederick; sisters Pat (Dan) Joyce, Joyce (Harry) Koontz; and several nieces and nephews.
Vickie was a member of New Hope Christian Church, as well as the Daviess County Extension Homemakers, where she met her very special friends, Karen Barnard and Sandy York. She previously worked at Vincennes Sun Commercial Times and North Elementary cafeteria. She loved reading and watching her daughter and grandchildren play sports. She was an avid Hatchet, IU, and Indianapolis Colts fan.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gill Funeral Home located at 308 E. Walnut St., Washington, Indiana. The funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel at Gill Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sugarland Memory Gardens.
