Washington Mayor Joe Wellman swore in the City’s newest police officer before Monday night’s City Council Meeting. The Mayor was happy to welcome Erin Healy to the WPD. Healy is a 2014 Barr-Reeve graduate and she served as a cadet and an officer with the Indiana University Campus Police Department. The Mayor said Monday was Healy’s first day at work and she has already completed her training at the Police Academy.
