A fire, some vandalism and an OWI arrest…

 

-Fire departments were dispatched to a garage fire overnight on 100-West.  No medical personnel were called to the scene and there’ve been no injuries.

-Authorities responded to an accident at 100-South and 1025 East at 7:21 yesterday morning.  A vehicle went off of US west of 1025 East.   There were no injuries but some minor damage to the bean field was reported.

-A vehicle went off of the road and into a ditch at Southwest 7th and West National Highway at 1:30 Tuesday.  There were no injuries.

-Authorities investigated an incident where a tire was slashed while parked at Wal-Mart.  The vandalism was reported at 4:25 Tuesday afterhoon.

-The Montgomery Post Office contacted authorities on Tuesday about mailbox vandalism which they say happened over the weekend.

 -A Bedford woman was picked up by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department Tuesday on an Out of County Warrant.  NO bond was set for 32-year-old Vanessa J. Hughes. 

-An investigation Tuesday led to several charges against 41-year-old Terry W. Wininger of Washington.  He’s charged with Operating While Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance,, Operating While Intoxicated with a Passenger under 18, and Neglect of a Dependent.  Bond was set at $2500.
