Drug Take Back results

Indiana State Police collected over 1700 pounds of unused or expired medication last Saturday.

        Saturday was “National Prescription Drug Take Back” day.  Collection sites were set up across the nation and at all ISP posts in Indiana except the Toll Road.  ISP says they collected a total of 1,752 pounds of prescription liquid and pill medications. 

        District 34, the Jasper post took in 382 pounds. District 35 at Evansville collected 148. The Bloomington Post took in 240 and in Putnamville they took in 25 pounds.
