State Road 358 west of Plainville has been reopened.
State Road 257 south of Washington remains closed due to high water.
Area rivers have crested and have begun to fall, however River Flood Warnings do continue. The National Weather Service say extensive river flooding will continue through the first part of the week.
White at Edwardsport was just under 3 feet above flood stage early this morning at 17.8 feet. At Petersburg the White is at about 24 feet. The fall will continue throughout the week and it’s expected to reach below flood stage this coming weekend.
The Wabash at Vincennes was at 22 feet and falling and the East Fork at Shoals was at 21 feet and falling.
