The Reds Caravan West Tour made a stop in Washington on Friday. Every year the Reds take a tour to meet and greet and promote the upcoming season. The stop in Washington was not open to the public, but a special VIP event was put on at Bobe’s Pizza Express complete with a special radio broadcast.
On the tour this year was legendary Reds play by play announcer Marty Brennaman. He and Reds fans are hoping for an improved season this year..
You can hear the Reds all season long on am1580 and 95.9fm WAMW. Brennaman, the main announcer for decades for the Reds says he’s now working for the Reds on a year to year basis and says he plans to broadcast over 130 games this season.
