Winter Weather Advisory in Effect

The area is under a Winter Weather Advisory through 4 this afternoon.  The advisory is for snow meaning periods of snow can cause travel difficulties.

        The NWS says we’ll see snow up to 2 to 4 inches.  Plan on slippery road conditions and be prepared for reduced visibility at times.

        According to the latest Travel Advisory Map from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, Daviess, Martin, Pike and Dubois Counties are under a Travel Advisory, Knox County is under a Travel Watch and Gibson County is still on a Travel Warning as they have been since Friday.

        Pike, Dubois and Gibson Counties have a Wind Chill Advisory for tomorrow from 1-am to noon as frigid temperatures return and there’ll be wind chills possibly reaching-10 degrees.
