The Knox County Chamber of Commerce new leader is Jamie Neal. She takes over for Marc McNeece who left the chamber to work for a local financial institution. It’s the first time in 15 years the chamber will be under the direction of a New President. Neal will be working with Elizabeth Johnson recently named Vice President of the chamber.
Neal has been a past director of the Knox County Community Foundation and Assistant Director of Admissions at VU.
She told the Vincennes Sun-Commercial she has over 20 years of sales experience and experience at the foundation with working with board members and community organizations. She also has a background in special events planning and public speaking. She says a goal she has in the new position is the retention of young people in the area.
