A woman from Buffalo Grove, Illinois, who was a passenger on a motorcycle hit by an alleged drunk driver in Knox County Monday, has died.
39-year-old Viktoria Jarvis died Tuesday according to reports.
46-year-old Boris Fayman was driving the bike and died at the scene Monday after being hit by a pickup driven by 45-year-old Donnie Robinson of Oaktown. Robinson was charged with operating while intoxicated causing injury or death, leaving the scene and driving while suspended with a prior drunk driving conviction. Robinson is said to have had a BAC over 2 times the legal limit at the time of the crash. He remains in the Knox County Jail on a $5000 bond.
The incident happened on US 41 near Freelandville Road at 8 Monday night when authorities say Robinson is said to have crossed in front of the motorcycle. He left the scene but was later located and arrested.
