-State Police released details on two arrests we reported to you yesterday morning.  They say they made a traffic stop at 3:17-am on 200-East near National Highway because a driver did not use a turn signal.  While speaking to the driver, 20-year-old Preston Matteson and a passenger, 26-year-old Tyler Bagley, Trooper Mitch Weir found neither had ID.  It was discovered that Bagley was wanted on warrants from Pike County.  The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department’s K9 team of Deputy Luke Harmon and his partner “Focus” assisted and the dog indicated the presence of narcotics. After a search police found a smoking pipe which tested positive for meth.  A Loritab tablet was found in Bagley’s pocket.  Both men were arrested. Matteson was charged with operating while intoxicated and Bagley with several possession charges.
