Helen J. Plummer, 85, of Washington, IN, went to her Heavenly Home while surrounded by family at her residence on May 4, 2017. She was born on March 15, 1932 in Washington, IN to Harry H. and Myrtle L. (Myers) Bush. She attended Washington Schools. In March of 1954, she married the love of her life, Everett Plummer Sr. Helen was a homemaker and dearly loved spending time with her family and friends.
Helen is survived by her daughters Laura Steers (Andrew) and Lynda Plummer; sons Everett Plummer and Eric Plummer; granddaughter Amanda Plummer; sisters Clara Habig and Delotta Kay Mahan; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband Everett; her parents; siblings Betty Osborn, Imogene Kitz, Harry H. Bush (Sandy), Catherine H. Bush, Bill J. Bush, Doris O. Rhoads, Shirley Morning, and Carolyn Sue Hudson.
The service for Helen will take place on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 1:00pm at Gill Funeral Home, 308 E. Walnut Street, Washington, IN 47501. Friends may call on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 4-8pm and prior to the service on Tuesday from 12-1pm. Interment will follow the service at Bethany Cemetery.
