Arrest made in Jasper Rural King theft case

A Jeffersonville, Indiana man was arrested over the weekend after an investigation into a theft at the Jasper Rural King. Indiana State Police say the case began January 20th when three tool kits were stolen from the home and farm store.  It was learned that the suspect had placed the items in a shopping cart near the back door before asking to us a phone near the gun counter.  The suspect called an accomplice to be ready outside the back door and the man grabbed the items, retreated out of the door, got into a gold mini man and drove off. Later,  the man was identified as 37-year-old Joseph Zaepfel of Jeffersonville.  He was arrested over the weekend without incident and taken to the Dubois County Security Center.
