Agnes I. Bledsoe, 96, of Brownsburg, formerly of Loogootee, passed away at 3:18 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Brownsburg Meadows.

She was born March 8, 1920 in Shoals, Indiana to the late Merle and Nellie (Head) Hitt.

Agnes was a member of the Loogootee Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Bledsoe; parents, Merle and Nellie (Head) Hitt; three brothers and three sisters.

Agnes is survived by her daughter, Sue (J.D.) Faris of Indianapolis; granddaughters, Kathi (Stan) Lower and Susan (Bruce) Caveney; four great-grandchildren, Kendra (Greg) Gilbertson, Michael (Rachel) Lower, Allie and Tyler Caveney; two great-great grandchildren, Kenley and Crosby Gilbertson; sister, Avis Hitt.

Funeralservices will be conducted by Brother Ed Frost at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Loogootee Christian Church.Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 13, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
