A 2nd year VU Student from Dubois County died in a fire near Petersburg Saturday morning.
The Dubois County Free Press says the fire is under investigation by the state fire marshal’s office and details were not available.
19-year-old Damian McBride of Birdseye lost his life in the fire along with his dog.
