The Town of Montgomery is hosting its second public workshop and is seeking public input to help shape the future of the community through the development of a Comprehensive Plan.
The public planning workshop is 6:30 PM on Tuesday next week at the Community Building in Montgomery Ruritan Park.
Montgomery Town Board President, Michael Healy said they a great turnout at the first public workshop and received very insightful comments. He says they need area residents to participate in this second workshop and continue to share their feedback.
Deron Steiner, also on the Town Board noted that concepts in a draft plan range from fundamentals such as utilities and infrastructure to other ideas like a town center that would serve multiple uses.
If area residents have not already done so, they are encouraged to participate in the planning process by completing a short survey to share their perspectives on the Town of Montgomery and the future direction of the community.

Paper copies of the survey can be obtained and returned to the Montgomery Town Hall 370 N. Main Street Montgomery, IN 47558.
The survey takes less than five minutes to complete. Residents are urged to share the survey with friends and neighbors.
